Revision Rhinoplasty

Corrective nasal surgery, also known as revision rhinoplasty, is carried out to address unfavorable outcomes after an earlier rhinoplasty procedure. There are some disagreements over the word. Some claim that revision rhinoplasty refers to remedial procedures carried out by the same surgeon to address poor outcomes from the initial surgery, whereas secondary rhinoplasty refers to such procedures carried out by different surgeons. However, Secondary Rhinoplasty—regardless of the surgeon who conducted the original operation—is frequently used to describe corrective nasal cosmetic surgery done a second or more times.
